Since I was a child, I remember being mesmerized by flowers. Was it their colors, their perfume, their texture, their beauty, or was it a combination of them all? They had a certain je ne sais quoi that enchanted me. Recently, I learned from my mother (Lucy) that in the very early years of my life, she knew that I was different. She told me that I got a wild flower, wrapped it in a small piece of tissue paper (perhaps a literal soft tissue,) and gave it to her as a gift. She continued telling me she was in disbelief because I was just "too young" to understand what I had just done. When I think about flowers, I recall that they were one of the first things I knew I loved; I still do, and perhaps, always will... Today, after so many years, I have the opportunity and privilege of working with the magic of flowers. I can only hope that every time I send out a collection of these splendid creations, whoever receives them, smiles and feels that each stem was touched with love. -Rafael

We have made a sustainability pledge; we recycle, upcycle, and reduce waste. The unusable greenery and flowers are not thrown away; we compost them and use that rich product in our garden; where we also grow some flowers and greens.Whenever possible, we purchase our flowers here in the United States. However, when that option is not viable, our personal and unique relationship with the farms in Colombia and Ecuador allows us to have the best-lasting flowers, as they arrive at our door within 48-72 hours of being cut. All these proud choices mean that when your flowers reach your loved ones, they will enjoy them for a longer time. We are fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
